Grease knuckle

Hey guys I'm in the process of replacing my hubs and found a lot of built grease om the driver side knuckle. What could be causing this? Thanks for any help

could that be from over greased balljoint.

Well to be honest I don't think so, I looked and the axel seal looks wet, what else could be causing this?

does it smell like gear lube? unmistakable stink in my opinion.
