Every few days, my transmission starts to hesitate. When I check the level, it's anywhere from 1 to 2 qts. low.
The engine, at the same time, begins making valve noise, and the oil level in the crankcase increases at about the same rate the level in the transmission decreases.
My exhaust seems to be much more visible and the dipstick from the crankcase looks red.
Well, to state the obvious: Your tranny is leaking fluid into your engine.
Some places I would check be the rear main seal of your engine, your engine oil pan gasket, and if you pull the tranny check to make sure the back of the engine block is not cracked.
Are you getting tranny fluid in your radiator as well?
Actually it sounds like the vacuum modulator is blown out and sending trans fluid into the vacuum lines back into the engine. What are you driving?? If you would like, email me this info so I can better diag you trouble.
