Chicken Lights!!

I`m really thinking about putting some chicken lights running the length of the cab on my truck, but wondering what it would look like, so if you`ve got them, and have pics, I`d love to see them!! Thanks in Advance!!!

I like the lights along the side step. Would definitely add that to my truck if the cost was low. I don't drive much at night.

I really like the idea of putting them in on the rocker panel like that. Are you "allowed" to use red lights for that? Not really into the amber....

Any special kind of light needed to survive the rain and snow?
What did you wire them to for power?

I'd just get a sealed light. The ones I got are sealed, but if the light cracks you can just get another whole light to replace without having the remove and rescrew because the light clips into the bracket.

I just wired up one side, spliced into the middle of it leaving a little bit of wire, wired up the other side and ran the two together zip tiieing to the frame and skid plate so it wasn't hanging around, then spliced into that and into the wire that ran my lights so they'd just come on with my regular lights.

Thought about running a relay but LEDS don't draw much amps so decided not to.
