Put the engine back in on Monday and installed the transmission on Tuesday. Then I pulled the transmission back out today as I neglected to install the clutch fork! Put it all back together and got the cab dropped back on.
Still need to install the headers and ignition, steering gear and clutch and then I can get the front clip and hood on. I hope to have that all done by the weekend (MY weekend, meaning Tuesday..)
After that it's weather stripping that I've been putting off, re-wire and interior.
The bed will be last and could be a winter project to get re-done..
That is a nice looking truck.
My fisrt 66 F250 4x4 was white as well.
It's not my favorite color but something about the black frame and running gear underneath a white body just makes the truck look menacing.
I'm even thinking of changing my current truck to white when I get that far.
A bit more has been done, slight delays due to the weather. If it stops raining tomorrow, I should get the hood back on and get the remaining engine bits done. I think I'll be ready to move on to the wiring then.
Front Clip on and then covered up ready for the rain.
