Help w/ 4x4 light blinking
Hey I have a 2002 explorer. The 4wd does not seem to be working properly. it will not engage in 4 high but will engage in 4 low. also the 4 high light blinks about 10 times when i press the 4 high button. Does anyone know what this could be from. I have read some similar stuff but not exactly the same. not sure if i am looking at the motor that engages the 4x4 or the module. any help would be appreciated.

Ok I did that and also disconnected the connector that connects the 4 wheel motor on the case and still nothing.

OK so It turned out to be the ground wire that goes to the motor on the transfer case. I read that these get corroded, but in my case it just broke from the point of ground. Ran a new ground wire and everything works. Thanks for reading...
