Tach Troubles
Just put a used tach on my 86 f 250. Hooked it up to the neg. side of the coil, and to the ignition fuse. But the problem is when you rev the engine it jumps right up to 8000 and i know my engine don't rev that high. Is there a way to calibrate the tach, or an adjustment i can make. The tach is pretty small, maybe 2-3in diameter, it is also pretty old.
