Late model head swap
I have a 1980 302 I'm rebuilding. Is it possible to use 85-93 5.0 heads on this block? What do I have to do?
What compression ration would this yeild assuming I have flat top pistons and the heads and block are stock height?
Is there a place on the web with good info about SBF heads (all the casting #s with chamber volumes, emisions, valve sizes ect)?
I'm using a flat tappet cam.

Late model head swap
Look for E7TE castings, they came on HO and truck engines. These are decent heads for the $$. Your compression will be about 9.0+. And these heads will bolt right on without any changes needed.
