Weird slow start issue?

Weird slow start issue?
Hey guys I'm having a weird starting issue that started at the gas station last week. Sometimes not every time(seems to do it three times in a row then it will start normal for a day or two) my truck will crank and crank almost to point where it drains the batteries before it fires up. Another thing is when It hits the point where I feel like it's going to stop cranking if I hit the gas petal she fires right up no problem. Truck seems to run fine when started and doesn't stall or anything while it's running. I've checked my battery cables and they are tight and batteries are less then a year old. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? I've tried searching different forums and I couldn't find anything similar to my symptoms. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
