So last night my truck started and seemed to be running ok except as soon as I started to roll out of the parking lot my RPM's dropped and the engine stalled out. After cranking it a few times with no luck I popped the hood to discover that a plastic piece connected to what seems like a vacuum line that seemed to be connected to somewhere below the carburetor had broken and become detached. After removing the air filter to expose the carburetor I found where connection was but was unable to reattach the line to the throttle body. It's hard for me to describe the exact line and it's location because to be honest, I don't know it's function. So if someone could email me so I can show you some pictures of the parts in question it would be greatly appreciated!!!
I have the feeling that a small vacuum line on something under the hood is not going to keep it from running, just make it run bad. If I were to guess, since you have the 460, you might have fuel delivery problems caused by a fault with one of the electric pumps(most but not all have these).
It's only a guess, will wait and see your pictures.
