valve lash adjustment
Not very often at all. I might check mine about every 30000 and maybe one or two may be out sightly. Use some sort of mechanical means to check them. If you tighten them too tight the valves will burn. A slight uniform tapping noise from the valve train is normal. They are solid lifters . BTW you have a very nice truck and I wish it was sitting in my drive way.
