When driving my 08 F350 dually at low or stopped speeds I get a strong odor of diesel fumes in the cab. It is not 100% of the time but lately a lot more often. It is almost to the point I will not be able to drive it. Seems more when heater/Ac is on
A misaligned up pipe or the gasket between the turbos are usually the problem. These pipes find away of getting misaligned themselves somehow. On my work 6.4, twice it was the gasket and once was the pipe. It was the tech's fault on the pipe though.
Regen is worse. Seems like comes through vents. I will say of all my diesel trucks I own this one is the stinkiest. My cat and Detroit truck engines done smell near as bad as this truck does

Yep my same thoughts i have a dpf delete and never smell a thing unless the windows are down, i had the up pipe issue associated with fumes in the cab, adjusted it problem gone worst cause you could have a cracked up pipe but you might tend to hear that underload.

Any ideas? Up pipe was checked a few years back.
Same thing happened to me earlier this year. Ended up being the Y pipe. Luckily it is considered part of the EPA required emissions system and was covered under warranty. Bad news it is a cab-off repair and took about a week.
My warranty is out so I am basically screwed if the Y pipe is bad. 2 years ago I complained of the problem and they lifted cab and replaced a few things. Never really stopped the problem 100%. I had it out again tonifght and as long as I am driving pretty fast its ok. If I just on brakes to stop the fumes engulf the truck.
