I pay and am perturbed. Don't the guaranteed mechanical catastrophe folks have their own forums?

FTE doesn't pick the ads, Google does. They help pay for the site and we have no choice as to what is displayed, sad as it is.

I have a lot of Amazon adds from looking for tools from work, and I buy clothes from there alot since I dislike shopping in stores.
Plus I will get adds from what ever car I had a fancy for the previous week.

Become a SUPPORTER, the pages are different and you won't see any pop-up ads.
FTE is owned by Internet Brands, who owns over 100 other websites. The ads you see here on FTE (Dodge/GM/Toyota, etc) run on all IB's websites.

I wonder if they are individualized. I get a lot of Nissan ads. I do a bit of work on my girlfriend's old Nissan truck though, so I guess Google logs old searches and posts relevant ads.
Makes my wonder why you are getting GM ads?

I'm a SUPPORTER but I saw what 1972Redneck was talking about. It was an actual thread in this forum, not an ad as you'd get if you were not a supporter. It even changed from GM to Ford for a bit. Not it seems to be gone.

You can get rid of ads by using adblock plus. Works good for a cheapskate.
