I've been doing some tinkering around and this what I've come up with for hubcaps. Its not easy finding nice hubcaps for steel dually wheels. I don't really like the stainless simulators. I wanted hubcaps since the lugnuts and wheel rotations tend to wear through the paint. I had some vinyl made up to mimic the original hubcaps.
They are aftermarket hubcaps for 2003+ Dodge 3500 DRW and require the matching dodge lug nuts. They will only work on most hub centric Dana axles and are way too short for the Sterling hub.
Ford never made any DRW caps for the econoline and the ones they did make for the F-350 clipped onto the alloy wheels. The Super duty ones clip on the lugnuts but the bolt pattern is wrong.
I plan on having the wheels power coated white to match the upper body colour like they originally did.
Nice job on the vinyl.
I was talking to a buddy of mine recently who has been searching high and low for a decent set of caps for his 36 Chrysler coupe. He ended up doing what you did and went with vinyl. Looks fantastic
