I'm the one who discovered that at a Cracker Barrel back in the winter and told all of you guys about them. And I'm also the dumba$$ who put it back down in the store and told myself that I'd pick one up later. And now I'm the dumba$$ who can't find one at all........anywhere. I've checked no less than probably 10 Cracker Barrels since then. They all remember them, but then they just kind of chuckle and say they're long gone.

Homade is one bad-a truck! If you and your sweetie go for a ride in Homade you need to be careful. Homade has been known to cause couples to have animalistic tendencies. Check out the pic of Jeff and Nicolle on the pavement in front of Homade at Truckfest! Hot, Hot, Hot... If Homade is rockin' don't come knockin'!

That red 49 is a special truck. My wife traveled with me to the Jones Farm and actually rode with me in that truck! Now that is special!

The F-2 is not a truck for everyone, it's not for any mama boys that's for sure.

Or a 14 YO driving a 1934 Ford hay truck, picking up hay and hauling it to the barn. That 2-1 shift was the hardest. Transmission didn't loose a single tooth.

Best grin everrrr. Couldn't help myself from the 'easy rider' treatment. It was a generational thing. Seller's remorse for sure. 51 F3.

Actually, I like all of Bob's red fleet. I'd like to see all of them someday...

Doc doesn't care. Bob and Rob are right--the legendary F-2 shifts beautifully. Flawlessly. The clutch engages completely when it's sitting still at idle in neutral and goes into gear like a hot knife in butter, especially considering double clutching is so important at that moment. No grinding. No loud "pings" each time it goes from neutral to a gear. I guess I'm just not man enough for that truck.

Yeah, really. I was driving a farm truck at 14 (not hay, tobacco) and could shift with little to no problem. I've even been known to downshift a farm tractor. Maybe it's a farm thing?
