Have a question about a HighBoy
Ok so I've been a member for a long time but havnt loged in for awhile so I lost my login but anyways I have a 77.5 High Boy with a 351M in it the manifolds are junk . I don't really want to spend 600 $ on headers does anyone make shorty block huggers that will fit.

77 highboys are sort of the odd man out when it comes to header selection...
They're the only non-FE highboy and only had a six month production run, hence the lack of options come header time.
To my knowledge Hedman is the only manufacturer offering a set of headers for the 77 highboy with 351/400
I believe they run around 200 bucks.

Most manufacturers are ignorant of the whole highboy/lowboy thing, but iirc it's pn 89360 that fits the 77 highboys (351/400)
Maybe someone with a (351/400) 77 highboy will chime in to confirm, all my experience is with the 67-76 FE highboys.

I have thought about puttin my FE in it but then I would have ti build a new trans In high school I built a 390 out of a 105 block with a 391 truck crank

In the first post, the OP is asking about block huggers and I have long tubes. However, if they are interested, my engine is out right now and my headers are just laying in my engine compartment still connected to my pipes so I could go check them. Unfortunately, they are kind of dirty/rusty/used so I don't know if I will be able to get any part numbers...if they were even stamped (I didn't buy them).

I would try giving Hedman's tech line a call...
I know it's not reflected in their literature but i'm pretty certain they make a header that fits the (351/400) 77 highboy.
