High idle mod/ manual?

High idle mod/ manual?
This question is a 50/50 from what I have found.
I have a 2006 cc lb with a manual tranny, 6.0 of course.
So I know how to do the mod, does it work for a manual transmission?
I heard it already comes with it on uplifter switch #4, it doesn't work.
Heard do it the same, doesn't work.
Also if it is able to work with wire, I know of 2 choices.
I want it for my winch, and warm up, jump starting, mainly the first two!
