High Idle Mod

Can the high Idle mod work on the 2011 6.2 gas or only on the diesel engines?

I know there was a high idle mode on the 6.8 in 2005, though it may have only been on the manual transmission.

What benefit are you trying to gain? It was really useful on diesels to help with maintaining engine operating temp and avoiding wetstacking/blow-by issues. It has applications with PTO transmissions, too, but it would help to know what your plan with the mod is.
