Both of these bikes have been trouble free other than a couple of minor issues like replacing a voltage regulator. Drove the Vulcan off the showroom floor and when it turned 100K, I decided to get the Nomad (low miles, used). I ride two-up extensively and thought it would prudent to have a less mileage bike in the event of a breakdown 100 miles from home with a passenger. All machines can and do fail.

What I meant is that more people who buy Metric bikes should ride them more and I feel there should be a lot more high mileage metrics than I hear about as they are fully capable.
I will ride anything that's capable of being ridden, I just haven't found a metric that I'm fond of the looks of and unfortunately the aftermarket is lacking in options for metrics and I'm the type of person who can never leave anything alone. haha

Yuppers! My 4th yr. lease was coming up and they still couldn't come up with any more room so that I could expand so, I finished the lease out and moved the shop out to my place on Yacht Haven (1555). No more appointment's!
A whole lot more room and I can play with all my toys whenever I want.
The work pace has been soooo much easier since the move and if I get stressed? I just take a stroll down to the waterfront to chill out with my view of Mosquito Pass and the land of Canuks while clutching a cold one. Oh...and I save over 25K a year. BAM!
