Sync MP3 track order.

SYNC seems to be ignoring both file names and track # in the MP3's ID3 tag, instead it plays albums alphabetically by song title. Is there a way to get it to play in the correct order?

I have my files formatted as follows ..

01 (track name )
02 (track name)

but it ignores the numbers and just wants to play them in alphabetically

I even tried

01 - (track name )
02 - ( track name)

and that did not work

Any help?

Mine does the same. I think you can make a playlist somehow and that would let you choose the order in which they play.

Hello doczenith1,

This is correct. The best means of arranging your music is through the use of a playlist. If you're using a thumbdrive you want to create the playlist, find where the playlist file is located on your computer, then drag and drop the file into your USB device. Also, be sure that the music you've specified in the playlist is all located in the root directory. After the above has been accomplished, you should be able to play your music via the voice command PLAY PLAYLIST and then whatever you named it.
