Hood Liner?
Greetings all,
So I purchased my '66 back in 1986, drove the heck out of it for a long time. Started a restoration, had to stop for 4 years and now finally its back to work. As I am de-rusting some parts I notice that it looks like the hood may of had a liner at one time? Does anyone know anything about this?

Hood insulator not offered until 1978 F100/350's and then only with 460 engine.
Autoparts stores sold a universal insulator, could be cut to correct size, installed using spray trim adhesive.
