Not dead bedliner ????????
Really just want it as a undercoating. Aluminum does not take the road salt any better than steel, even the better grades. I have found that Standard undercoat does not like to stick to aluminum so thats out. paint is not the answer either.
Another thing if I use a sealer between the aluminum and the steel like the sealer inside it now, will it stick to that. My only concern is underside of the floor boards. Any steel inside the tub will be painted. I have seen B2 tubs that have been done, but they do not say anything about removeing the sealer
Just to put it to rest I am doing this because me and my 84 B2 have gone to hell and back. Never left me stranded just seems to know were home is. Its like one of my kids and has not cost me anything compaired to them.
All of my friends think I am nuts to put all of the time and money in a rust bucket. But I am a fabricator By trade and it does not seem like a big deal to me. Can't wait to send in some pics when I am done with all the mods and get it painted.
Any info on my question will be appreciated in a major way. Its getting close. Only got to check off a couple more things on the list, to get to that part of the project.
Just wish I was the only one, that had lists for me to do. Be a lot farther ahead if the grass would just stop growing.
