nerf bars or step tubes
Ok whatever you want to call them nerf bars or step tubes...I usually call them nerf bars. a quick search didn't yield any definitive results
I was wondering if the nerf bars from different generation could fit one from another?? ( mine are kinda showing their age)
for example, I have a 02 extended cab 4x4 with factory nerf bars. Can a set of nerf bars from the next generation 04'-08' or 09'-12' fit on my 02'?? Keeping things the same extended cab to extended cab from one generation to the other.
It is probably more about the hangers, or mounting brackets....IF I keep my old brackets or hangers will they mount to the newer style nerf bars with little or no modification ??
