So, I pull out of a parking lot tonight and turn my wheel to the right, and feel it "give way", the wheel totally kept going to the right and then it became really hard to steer.
I was able to drive home, with it being very hard to steer and lots of belt noise.
The belt appeared to be fine upon popping the hood, and there is power steering fluid in the reservoir and no leaking.
I'm almost 99% sure it's the pump. Or else, why would the belt be squeaking so bad? I had a leak in my power steering line at my gear box in my F150 and it was similarly difficult to steer, but with no belt noise.
NOW, the fun of working within the confines of an enclosed area.
Any tips on what to remove and what not to remove for this repair?
