Lightning Front Bumber

Does anybody know if the 99 lightning front bumber will be a direct bolt on to a 97 F150? I dont know if it is the wrong size or if there are just different mounting brackets or what. If anybody knows the answer I would appreciate it. Thanks

Lightning Front Bumber

I'm not sure why, but I've heard that the lightning bumpers will not fit first year f-150's (1997). Like I said, I don't know why but that's what i've heard.
