Wink breake

prejudice to kindly have to ask advice dictated by your experience, I replaced the brake booster of my ford f 150 1983 351W with another 1985 f 350 460 engine leaving the old master cylinder with slight modification of the two holes for fixing, now restrains as it will go and 'very soft, believe there may be security issues or you can' leave this change? thanks x your thoughts and experience pace car

Check for air in the lines, did you properly set the free play via the acorn screw on the push rod before installing the master cylinder? I replaced the master cylinder when I did the booster on my truck, it was only $10 new-Bill

I agree on air in the brake lines, remove that by bleeding your brake system and see what happens after that.

hello no I have not done anything, I removed the old brake booster of f 150, and I reinstalled the new one f the 350 and that 'more' big, slightly modifying the holes in the brake master cylinder, check the air today on the line and try again. as you adjust the inner rod? thanks pace car

Today I checked the brake line I bled the air, the pedal now it's better, but still has a lot of the pedal stroke, but bene.ho registered brakes and the steering gear had very gioco.l 'steering and I' will be very sensitive 'better to put a steering damper? consigliatemi
