I have a 2013 Ford F-150 4x4
I have a 6" lift
20" wheels with 325/60R20 tires
My speedometer is off by 5mph at 60 mph
when my speedometer is showing 60 mph it is really doing 65 mph
been to the ford garage and they tried to calculate thru the computer but it wont help at all
Does anybody have any help to try and get this closer to the speed it should b Thanks
Hope I have enough info for yas
I had the same experience when I tried to re-flash the tires size on my F-150. Unfortunately there is no way to do this through OEM means. Either you live with the inaccuracy or you'd have to consider going with an after-market tune to update your speedo.
aftermarket tuner is about the only way to get it calibrated. ford cant calibrate anything over stock sizes unless the truck is already sold with a lift and tires.
Thanks for the replys folks
gDMJoe that is the one they used 607 and it is still off by 5mph @ 58mph on the speedometer it is really doing 63mph so is there any other suggestions out there folks
