What are you wanting to do to your truck? We can walk you through about anything you are wanting to do. Full force diesel is in tn. Not sure if they work on trucks there though.
Well it's mostly my tow rig for my 62 & 64 but I only have a single trailer and the truck don't pull as good as I would like .. and I am Fixn to get a 2 car trailer..So I just want it to pull like a monster. Thanks again
A chip, down pipe, exhuast, intake, would really wake that thing up and can be down with minimal tools/time. It would also be a good idea to put some gauges on there. Just trying to save you a few bucks.
Most of us here use a 6637 filter. You can get a kit from riff raff diesel. For the chip, you can use a ts 6 position chip and send it in to get custom tunes on it. Some tunners are gear heads, php, and there is dp tunner that uses a different style of chip. Riff raff will have every thing you need for the intake, exhaust, chip, and gauges. And a whole lot of other stuff to spend your money on.
ok guys just ordered the 6637 kit from rr and will be getn the diamond eye 4" exhaust and 3" dp when i get back from the bahama's in a few weeks. So i will keep you guys posted as i build BIG BLACK!!!!
Glad to hear you decided to build the truck up yourself! I have the diamond eye kit too and like it. I dont have any experience with that chip. But i would still get custom tunes rather than canned ones.
yea my wife is to..just checked for codes and 3 came up 0113 IAT sensor,0236 BPS and 1212 ICP sensor,,does that sound right to you guys...If thats right i found the BPS for$182 and the ICP sensor for $239!!!Damn thats high for some sensors......
I would clear the codes and see if they come back in a couple days, if you havent checked them in a while. Also pull the connector off the icp and see if it has oil in the plug. And thats pretty high on the new sensor you found they are 131 at riff raff. Is your truck running bad?
