So I did a more or less full interior restoration on my 97 crewcab. Custom leather seats, headliner, carpet and redyed some very faded panels. Just wanted to post some pictures, it was WELL worth it. I bought the truck and liked it... Now I love it.
old
new
The flash makes some photos a tad fuzzy and some of the colors look way off. All the panels match pretty good in the sun light.
I wasn't big on the blue when I first got it because you can just look at it and tell it was junk. Now though? It's pretty damn slick, I'd take this truck over a 7.3 lariat any day
Too bad the blue doesn't match the rest of the interior
Leather touch like a Mercedes. Seating surface is leather, everything else is Pleather. Foam was rebuilt, not sure on the springs though. Front seats feel like new, rear seats pretty much feel the same. But they were already pretty comfy so I don't think it was needed. Plus I could care less about how comfy it is in the back.
It's a nice contrast, we couldn't find a color that matched perfectly. That was about as good as we could do. I like it.
Not sure on the headliner or carpet. I know it's a mass backed carpet and that silver looking sound dampening stuff was put in. It's a good bit quieter than it was.
