jim, if you get it for that, don't forget to take advantage of the financing.

I do believe this is the third time this truck has been listed on the 'bay'. That is one beautiful machine. Must have been built back when it was acceptable to run no brakes on the steer axle.

All of the big trucks 1976 and older do not have to run brakes on the steering axle, as far as I know they still don't have too.

I have seen that truck posted on here before.
I thought it belonged to a member.

I still remember the first time I drove a Kenworth
with front brakes. It was winter and icy. There was
a switch to lock out the front brakes. I used it as
soon as I found it. They don't steer well at all on
ice or wet clay when ya apply brakes down hill
loaded. Scared the crap out of me. I thought it was
the dumbest thing they had ever done until I had to
make a quick stop on a dry road.

I think they are looking for north of $100,000 for it.
I looked into buying this truck last summer from the guy who built it,he wanted $135.000 back then

Didn't realize this truck has floated out there before for sale. Good luck getting that much out of it ($100,000+). Nice truck but you would REALLY have to want one. I will stick to my lower budget builds.
