I have a 1951 f1 with a 239 flathead, the engine has had a complete rebuild including being dipped. The water pumps are both rebuilt, the radiator is brand new...fan is four blades no shroud. Generator replaced with 100amp one wire GM alternator 12volt system.
Transmission is three on the tree.
My question I live in the Phoenix area, plan to drive this truck every day even through the summer when it hits 115degrees plus.
I want to add air conditioning to it but am worried about it overheating...
has anyone already added air to a 239? Will it be able to handle it both temperature and power wise?
