To Stephenk- That bus is not like mine, it is a Chevy! It is the same size and shape, but I think my tires are different
To -Eric- I purchased the OEM CD ROM from the online store and it does not show brake lines.:
Hmmmm... Are you sure? The CD's are supposed to have the original illustrations and my books show the brake lines. In my book they are illustrations 4-7 for light duty trucks in section 12-02. They also have them for the HD trucks in other sections.
Eric- I stand corrected. Thank you for guiding me to the proper place on the CD-ROM. My system is the one at 12-01-3 fig. 4
split hydraulic brake system with frame mounted boosters. I don't understand what the dotted line to the front brakes means.
Does 15X3 mean the diameter and width of the drum? My front wheels only have one wheel cyl.per wheel. Anyway this diagram helps a lot. I will measure my drums because 15X3 sounds real close to what I have. It looks simple on this diagram, but it gets me totally confused under the truck!
Dennis - my trucks model is a P-450 The CD covers 400 & 500 series ,so I figure the 450 should be in there somewhere.
I think my real problem is, someone before me tried to plumb this truck to run on one booster. It didn't work, but they just parked it and left the lines mixed up.
