Welcome to a new month folks. Weather is finally cooling off down on the coast. Things have slowed down slightly at my shop so I figured I'd show off my new project. Its a 96 F-150 LX in all its straight 6 glory. Hope every one has great month.
Thanks Southern for starting a new thread!!! I have been going from one meeting to another this week, going to be even worse next week. I also have a 40 hr online course I have to complete. I plan on doing as much of it as I can tomorrow and get it finished.
Early Happy Birthday Grubb, Mine is next Saturday!!!!
Came home on Sunday and the old truck fired right up.
It was 40* Mon AM - Fall is HERE!! The leaves are turning. I'll try to post regular pics so you southerners can see what the seasons look like!!
Got all (3) Rocky's together for a photo shoot.
My Mom LOVES her little white Rocky she's had since '92. She twisted my arm a few years ago and I bought the red one and replaced the engine, etc (project...). Mom wrecked hers Sunday, so I bought the silver one for parts to fix hers. These little rigs are TOUGH with fully boxed frames and massive a-arms, etc for the size of the vehicle. The little fuel-injected 1.6l is tractor-simple and gets 25+ MPG here in the mountains. I'm so glad Mom is OK, I'll do what it takes to fix her 'lil Rocky up!!
Hey Guys,
I am still alive, been a very busy week going to classes and training. Paid for my tags today and got my DL renewed. Birthdays are not as fun as they were when I was young. The state seems to get the bigger present/ cash. Long Holiday weekend !!!!! Ready for home time!!

Yes I agree the cooler temps is a lot better than not stop sweating. I am more thankful the gnats are pretty much gone, they drive me insane.
Wife made me hot wings and a birthday cake. I fell asleep with about 50 laps to go. I just love my DVR, I watched the remaining laps this morning over coffee!!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Spent Saturday on the lake with my boys and the kids (my boys and nieces) had their 'Fall Festival on the Lane' yesterday. We all live on Sweetheart Lane... There was leaf collection to make piles to play in, pumpkin carving, apple carving, art projects and general outside play - usual stuff, its just gets a name today!
The leaves are starting to turn:
Daisy likes the boat:
The boys enjoy playing on an island beach, while me and Daisy soak up some sun on the boat!
Cruising around with the radio thumpin':
Here Jordan displays the 'treasure' he found while exploring the shoreline. They like looking for lures and stuff when the lake goes down in the winter. The lighter he found 'still works' and the cup is full of black sand (like ya find with gold) - and he said 'If I'm right about this Dad, we are set for life'. Lol. He will be panning that sample at some point today. Guess I'll have to let y'all know what he finds!
