Slow shifting please help
My 2007 f150 has approx 134000 miles on it. Has a "ticking" from motor Sousa like an exhaust leak to me but ford place says its timing. It also is slow at shifting from take off and blows. It will go up to and stay at 2k rpm until finally shifting but once you get to about 45-50 mph it runs good. The blowing kinds sounds like a airplane(that's what we call it) takin off... Does anybody know what this slow shifting is about? Please any Info would help
