1948 exhaust control valve

I need a exhaust control valve, spring, counterweight, coil and bushing for my 1948 226 h series engine, any ideas as to where to get them?

For as poorly as they work, and as often as they get stuck, I wouldn't look real hard for the parts. But here are the P/N's... I'd try Joblot first

Thanks for the info Albuq, the problem is that all the exterior parts are missing, the valve seems to be moving but I have a exhaust backfire and I think this may be part of the problem

If you know which way closes the valve (i.e., normal hot engine position) clamp a pair of vice grips on the shaft and see if that helps. If it does, find a way to lock it in that position.

Thanks for the help, I turned the shaft clockwise and fastened it using a hose clamp, took it for a ride and the backfiring has almost stopped. I also feel that it has a bit more pep
