05 6.0 -Tuner
Hi,
I have a 05 6.0 that had its share of problems: replaced HPOP, EGR ,HG (under wrty) and turbo (on my own dime
). Currently the truck has 108K miles.
I'm looking, perhaps, for something to give a little extra power when towing our horse trailer (2-3 times a month for a 1hr or so per leg of the trip on avg). I'm not planning on doing any hardware upgrades to the truck since we only use it on weekends and it will be replaced in 2 years or so (with a 15 or 16 F350

I would really not use it for the high end power settings (like +100hp and 200TQ), just for modest and safe gains. The truck, what they are worth, as are Air Raid intake and a Magnaflow Performance 4 or 5 inch exhaust (i have to check). Truck came with then when we bought it used with 65K on it.
Is this feasible for sub $1K? if so which brand? I'm in California so they would have to be compliant with local laws
