Hi FTE'rs. I just pulled my dash (01 X) to replace the bulbs and wanted to share the info. Priced out at the dealership the bulbs were $179.52. That's right, One hundred Seventy-nine dollars and fifty-two cents. NO Way! I politely asked for the print out of part numbers and let the guy know I was going to shop for better pricing. He was understanding and gladly gave me the print out. I think he was almost embarrassed to tell me the price, but not quite.
So, I went to AutoZone and CARQUEST and cross referenced the list and paid a grand total of #35.17. Here is the cross reference for your use. AutoZone in my area was a no go. CARQUEST had everything on hand.
(17) Ford PN: F7LZ*13B765*BA @ 8.98EA. CARQUEST: CLB-37 $.091 (6) Ford PN: F4UZ*13B765*A @ 2.31EA. CARQUEST: CLB-PC194 $2.30 **My panel only uses (5) of this bulb)
The warning bulb looks like an LED and works so I am leaving it alone.
Hope this helps someone save a few bucks!

Reason: Correct PN
Gary, thanks for the info. For me, it couldn't have been better timing. I have 2 lights out that I am going to tackle tomorrow. How hard was it to remove the dash and gauge-cluster? One more question... you have the same CarQuest part # twice, but different prices, was that a typo?

Good Catch, I corrected the part number. It took me about 5 minutes to take out the radio and remove the two other 10mm bolts inside (4) total,..... then there are four (10mm) bolts holding in the gauge cluster itself which are easily accessible. After you remove the bolts in the radio cubby then the trim will pop off as you apply pulling tension working your way around the perimeter.
The only difficulty I had was getting the gear selection cable to come off the cluster. In the process of moving the cluster around it popped itself off. I haven't put it back together yet so no reverse assembly advise either, lol.
I think my bulb behind my miles left digital display (Don't know what's it's actually called sorry)(The one above our head.) Anyway, I can't see the miles anymore, like how much gas I have left and I think the bulb may have gone out. 2001 limited excursion. Has anyone else had this problem?

I did mine over the weekend and it works again after being dead for two years. The thread will tell you it is not a bulb issue but the chips come loose and need to be reseated, and in some cases re-soldered.
Good Luck. It will work out fine!
