#4 plug fried & found some oil inside plug. This is my daily driver so I need to get running ASAP. Should I just try new external pigtail first or assume UCVH is also bad and buy pigtails, gasket, & UCVH's for that whole side. Where is the best place to buy these parts?
With oil in the plug, I would say replace the gasket along with the external plug, if that is the plug that is melted. You can get the Chineese made Doorman gasket from most any parts house, but there are mixed reviews on their longiviity. With the Doorman you get the gasket, both external plug pigtails, and both the UVC harnesses. Clay at Riff Raff has OEM gaskets and plugs.
I strongly suggest staying away from Dorman. After changing out Dorman injector orings twice in a month I changes to OEM from Riffraff and that was over 4 years ago. Dorman specializes in making junk parts in China for cheap prices.
