I called the dealer today and found that the engine was replaced on 12/03/2012 at 100k, I now have 114532 on the clock and have 2.2 yrs of warranty left on the engine with unlimited miles.

I figured if you had a serialized Ford reman there was a good chance a dealer did the work. A private shop would probably be more apt to go with a reman from Jasper or some other outfit.

I was told that the original engine had locked up and they found pieces of #3 intake valve in the intake manifold and valve stem wedged in cylinder. I think I got e pretty good deal on this one.
