Aussie half ton F4 :)

Ok, I am about to start something a bit different. Trying to make a long wheelbase truck with a simple 9 foot tray, a 302 or 250 6 and C4 or T5, this is a true budget build and will use whatever comes to hand.
I am planing a build using a F4 chassis and use a F1 front axle, springs and draglink, basically a half ton F4
The springs are too wide from the F4 to use on a F1 axle so plan to use the F1 springs.
Have a few ideas on making this mismatch all work together but would like to here from the more experienced on here.
So far have collected a RHD F1 axle complete drum to drum with all steering and also a F1 Dana 41 complete drum to drum in great condition,,,other than having the spring locators cut off (the PO used them for his new diff a Aussie Borg Warner 78) All brakes, kingpins and steering have been recently rebuilt so that's a big saving.
Started cleaning up the diff but everything is off to after I move next month.

Hi Aussiecowboy, I like the Alloy Head Crossflow 6 but more into the older log head Aussie 221 and 250 inlines. Keep hearing the V8s about town and thinking going V8 is the only way to go, this F4 chassis will not be light.
Is it a C4 or BW auto on the 6, might be interested in the auto.
Will be a while before I get around to engines, I'm slow at bodywork

Don't blame you on the V8 noise, the 6 has a BW35. I can also help you out with a 351 and C4.
