Hi i have a problem with my f250, i bought 2 new batteries and check the alternator and its fine but i notice it wasnt charging, i dont know whats happening, only charges 12.5v instead of 13.5 or 14v, does the f250 have any alternator fuse? i cant find it please help!!!
i knew something was wrong because i got low battery in the morning and i cant turn it on the truck, i charged it up and went to the battery shop and we test the battery it was good, and we test the voltage and wasnt charging it was on 12.3v or 12.5v
i turn on the truck, its on 12.3 or 12.5v only, it should be at 13.5 to 13.9v, thats why it discharge my battery, it was charging all the road from work to my house lol.... and the other morning the battery was death... today i went to the alternator shop to test the alt in a machine and it show 14v at max spin so the guy told me its good, but i dont know why when i put on the alt in the car why does not charge at 13v up , normally , it stays at 12.3v or less its not charging.....
does the f250 have any alternator fuse or something like that ??? in other cars there is in the fuse box a fuse for the alternator !! but i was looking for it and i cannot find it....
