another carb id. ques.
i got this carb from a friend when i bought an engine off of him. he just through it in w/ the buy. the numbers i found are this:
D5TE-9510-BA
LIST-6869-1
2097
was just wondering what this came off of, and what holley carb this is. i think it came off of a mustang. it has manual choke. and is four bbl.

It came off of a 75-78 *361 or 389*
The Tune up kit for it is Motorcraft CA-215C

sorry, but i never heard of a 361ci or a 389ci. i'm probably stupid to ask this ques. but what are those engines?

They put them in B600- N600- C600 series Delivery/Parcel Vans & 700-900 Series Larger trucks
Go to the 67-72 forum and look in the *tune-up specs* thread that I have stuck on top of the heap in there.

Yep it's off of a 75 truck of some sort. If it's off of a 361 or 391, it would have a governer wouldn't it? Could be off of a 460.

sooooo...does it mean its a good carb? like how many cfm is it? and what is the model # of the carb?

Go to the Holley site and check it out.
It is probably about 650Cfm

Should be a 600cfm. This is pretty common. Almost all "650"'s are either a dual line/double pumper or a spread bore Quadrajet/Thermoquad replacement. I sold Holleys for years!!

No problem, many always assume 650. I guess it sounds better.
