Cheater Slick
Has anyone run a Cheater slick on the back of a 56 F100 with stock axles housing, without tubbing it slightly... i know they make an 8.5" wide tread but the actual cross section is 10.70" and i dont think it will fit. this is the tire want to stuff all up in the rear fender!


What do you guys think?

I haven´t tried it, but I have the same thaught´s, but I was thinking of widening the fenders with with a sheet metal strip, and widening the rims outwards. I necessary.

i had the same thought but i decided i wanted to leave it as stock as possible like an oldschool hot rod that would have been built in the 60's or 70's just modern-ish.
