I'm replacing my old 2-port degas bottle with a new single port and have more connections than I have lines.

On the bottom of the battery tray where the small vacuum line connects, the new part has a ~1/4" port (the old one didn't).

Any help on what to do with this port and what it is for would be appreciated.

 

Okay, I do need glasses. The old and new ports on the bottom are the same.

Anyway, anyone know what the unconnected port is for and should it be plugged?

 

Looked around for a while couldn't find anything, I was also thinking of putting on the new design bottle, hope you figure it out.
