I worked as a shop Foreman in three different RV shops, they were very common back in the day. I currently own a Centurion, which is an 84 F250 XL With Electric Seats and a Flatbed Dually, I am going to look at another 2wd model this weekend and the guy that has the 2wd also has a couple of these converted vans.
Centurion did a heck of a lot of conversions of Ford vehicles for quite a long time.
Here is a link to the one I am looking at this weekend, as my wife said, just what I need another truck!
That '84 Dually, (dooley), sounds like a nice truck at a good price!
I wonder what was done to fit 7.3 heads on a 6.9?
I like the Centurions, not 10K worth, but if I ever had the opportunity to grab one at a good price and I had the funds I'd snap it up.

I am wondering why they put the 7.3 heads on the 6.9, when I talk to the owner, I will ask if it has something to do with the Turbo. I know on my 85, with the ATS turbo, they did not change the heads.
He's going to be waiting a long while for that much.
A few months ago there was a guy in Roswell trying to unload a wrecked F-350 IDI. According to him, pretty much the only things worth salvaging were the drivetrain. He claimed that the engine alone was worth $6000.
