My truck seems like it wanders when driving down the road. Does anyone else have this problem? Or could it be the fact that I haven't gotten used to the electric power steering? The truck is a 2013 F150 screw 6.5 bed 4x4 5.0
I thought it was just me. Then my wife drove it home when I had to many adult beverages and said she had a hard time keeping it the lane. She hasn't driven since. Which is nice. I was hoping it would be something simple that people on this forum would know about.

I bet it would have driven perfectly straight with the adult beverages on board....
seriously though, the only time i've noticed my 2010 feels like it wanders is driving on a road with longitudinal tining (where the raked in groves for water displacement goes with the road instead of across it). as the tining wanders slightly side to side, the vehicle can tend to follow it. the tining is never perfectly straight with the road.
depending on the tires, it can be very noticeable. typically tires with a solid center tread tend block to be more stable and grab the tining less than those who's tread pattern is more than those tires who's center tread block is more aggressive.
one of my disappointments with the Cooper AT3's vs the ATR's. the ATR's had a solid center tread block, where as the AT3's do not. my AT3's tend to feel "looser" on these roads than my ATR's did.
I have not noticed my 2013 Platinum wander at all...I even test it omce in awhile and let go of the steering wheel to see if it tracks straight...and it usually does. (depending on the road crown)
Took my 2012 f150 in for its first inspection stiker and it flunked. They found a loose nut on passenger side tie rod and the threads where striped. Oh ya it 7900 miles
