this is not an advertisement for ale i am just cusious as to what everyone thinks this truck could be worth.
i just bought a 1967 F100 Custom Cab Longbed 2wd (automatic) with a swapped in 1978 351W 2bbl
the list of replaced parts and or upgrades includes
-new brakes (drums, grease seals, and adjuster kits), wheel cylinders, new tires, moon hubcaps, new carpet,new radiator, new timing gears/chain, new valve cover and intake manafold gaskets, rebuilt carb, new spark plugs/wires, rebuild distributor,pertronix electric added to distributor, high output coil, hoses, heater shut off valve, axle bearings and seals,new flywheel, fuel pump, motor mounts, transmission mount, v belts, rebuilt starter, rebuilt alternator, rebuilt water pump, vac. assist on distributor, carb spacer and gasket, halogen headlights, windshield, transmission cooler, thermostat, dual exhaust with mustang mufflers, new master cylinder. other parts I aquired with it but are not on it are 3 pnt. seat belts, new door gaskets, window channel sets, nwe king pin set, windshield washer pump and tank. the truck is in good condition except needs some body work and paint
i am trying to figure out how good of a deal i got on this, so what do you guys think all this was worth?
Prices vary radically from region to region. I paid $2200. for my '67 in 1989 in Southern California (about what it sold for new 22 years earlier). Good clean trucks -if several steps above average wood hauler status - are worth $2000. on up, If you paid less than $3K for it - and theres no major rust trhough spots - here in Wisc. you got a real good deal. Get thy self over to the '67 registry. (see links).
$1200 - $2000 depending on condition. A title would make it worth more and if you have strict smog laws that would make it worth more since its probably exempt.
