Need help finding Electrical Gremlin

Howdy All!

I could use some help up here in Rowlett (East Dallas)...
My 2000 V10 4x4 Limited Excursion has lost its rear tail lights & licence plate lights. Brake and turn siginal lights work fine. I have posted about this in both the Excursion and Electrical forums.
I need to get this fixed so I can drive down to San Marcos and go see my father who was recently diagnosed with Liver Cancer. Any help would be much appreciated. Prayers for my father would also be helpfull.

Thanks in advance.

Steven

up-date

I spent several nights trying to find the problem. I finally gave up and took it to the dealership. The Mechanic found the short on the Brown power wire and had it repaired in less than 90 minutes.
