seat help
I just bought a 93 F250 7.5 auto LB extra cab 2wd. Runs good, just has a lot of little problems. First to be tackled is the bench seat doesn't fold forward. Feels like the cable to release the latch is broken. Is there an easy way to replace it?

I have the same problem with my passenger side seat. It feels like the rod or cable (whatever it is) is broken or disconected from the latch at the bottom of the seat.
How did you fix it? I cant find any information or exploded views of these seats. It is a supercab with a solid bench seat on the bottom with each of the back parts of the seats folding forward to access the rear.

Its pretty simple actually. reach under the seat and unlatch it and fold it forward. On the underside of the backrest cushion you will see how the seat cover is snapped together. Open the cover and shimmy it up and almost off the seat. The cable is held on by 2 bolts, 1 on top, one on bottom. The cable is just slipped on the lever and latch with a z type connector on the cable. If you have the replacement cable, the whole thing should take 10-20 min. Real simple.
