Replaced the vss in the rear end with a motorcraft part from the dealer, Still have the code, no speedo, and the ABS light is on. I also have a fan controller code, should I look for a fuse, wiring issue, or what??
Where is the other end of the wiring? Straight into the PCM?
Do you have power and ground to the ABS module? Do you have a scan tool (or access to one) that can read the wheel speeds of all three speed sensors (RF, LF and rear)? If so, it would be wise to try and monitor them. If you have verified GOOD power and ground to the ABS module (on some vehicles there are TWO powers and TWO grounds), load test and check for continuity between all six wires for all three sensors between the main ABS module and the sensor connectors directly. You don't need a wiring diagram. Just match the colours of the wires at the main ABS module connector and the speed sensor connectors. I suspect I should have you covered pretty good with all the info listed above.
