sway bars
my 40 1/2 ton has a front sway bar and the end links are wore out. I see macs offers the "sling shot" part of the link, but not the bushing part that goes in the axle thru bolt. It appears to be about the same size as a leaf spring bushing. any ideas If that would work just as well?
Also my rear end has threaded stud on the passenger side, its cast into the leaf spring shackle bushing boss. Ive looked at other trucks online and dont see where that is used or what its for. any ideas?

Not sure about the first half of your question, I don't have much experience with the passenger car style front suspension of the 40 half ton.
As for the other half, are you sure it's not for the shock? Perhaps maybe came from a later year?
